Student Goals

Every De Beau Microschool student comes to De Beau Microschool with different ideas and goals. Some students want to fill in the gaps and prepare to return to public school. Some students want to fill gaps and work hard to participate in dual enrollment and graduate from De Beau Microschool.

We discuss the parents' goals for the student and the student's goals for themselves. Often the students are unsure. At that point we start asking about their hopes and dreams for the future. Do they have any idea of what type of career they are interested in pursuing? Often times, students are unsure, so at that point, we discuss the path to prepare them to attend university in case they choose to do so in the future. That way, the student will be prepared for university if they choose to attend.

Once goals are established, we create map of success for the student.
