Provides instruction that accommodates the student's individualized learning pace.
Through my course I have researched and learned about many aspects of online learning. I have been tasked to create an innovative plan for my school. I decided that my innovation plan would incorporate e-portfolios for high school students, beginning in eighth grade, which is the first year that students can receive credit toward graduation.

I completed a literature review regarding the use of e-portfolios by students. I was specifically looking for information regarding e-portfolio use by homeschool students.

Update as of November 2018:

As my course has continued, I have learned more and have researched more. I have recently completed an addition to the original literature review regarding e-portfolios. However, this time we were tasked to look at our topic from a global perspective. Through my research, I learned about the use of reflection in an e-portfolio. My literature review incorporated reflection while gathering world wide sources.

Update as of January 2021:

Through the research above, I learned about the importance of reflection for students. I have incorporated reflection into all History, Science, and Health courses for Grade 4 through 12. I have found the research to be accurate regarding reflection and test score results.
